  The pizza here is pretty much always on point. The sauce is legit and they source a lot of local ingredients including sausage and beef. I was mixed about the beer tho.
  Back when they first opened, their beer always tasted off. Mostly it tasted contaminated, like they did a bad job cleaning equipment. It was so consistently bad, I gave up on it and resolved to drink Yuengling cans.
  HOWEVER, I am a firm believer in redemption and I hardly ever give up on anything putting forth an earnest effort. I tried a flight the other day and tasted a vast improvement. No tastes of contams! Only slight off tastes on some but also some real winners too.
  If you're visiting this beautiful yet economically depressed Southern Appalachian town, I highly suggest eating & drinking at this place. Just check their hours before you head over.

  This might be Spruce Pine's biggest surprise! This is pizza of the calibre you expect to find in NYC or Chicago. Probably the best pepperoni and sausage I've ever had on a pizza. Incredible! And then there's the beer! If Juicy Fruit is on the menu buy a keg!
